How Businesses Can Add A Human Touch To Their Twitter Feed

Everyone likes to know that someone is listening, and by showcasing the interactions of your followers, you are doing simply that. If a follower tweets something to your business or mentions it, thank them by retweeting and replying. Ultimately, they will be more motivated to interact again. Other potential clients will see these interactions, and they could start up a conversation of their own.

Halt Overselling

It is sensible that a small business owner would want to promote their product at every opportunity that arises. Regrettably, blatantly doing this makes you seem more like an out-of-touch corporation than a caring business owner. Make time to provide tips, interesting content, relatable images and useful videos. This will make your tweets seem like they are coming from an actual human.

Highlight the Talent

A quick and simple way to humanize your Twitter feed is to showcase your employees and get them involved in the conversation. Use a picture of your employees as the cover image for your profile. Share photos of your team having fun. Ask your team to interact with your tweets. All of this shows people that it is really the people behind the company that make it wonderful.

Show Followers that you’re Listening

People like to know that they are being heard, and showcasing follower connections is an excellent way of doing this. When someone plugs your company in a tweet, take the time to retweet their message and thank or respond to them. This will endeavor them to interact even more. Furthermore, it will show others that you really care about what your clients think, and they may even get in on the conversation themselves.

Customers do not like interacting with robots or believing that your message is entirely automated. And even if a lot of your tweets are automated, taking the time to humanize your profile can get rid of this robotic image. Show people that real humans are behind your feed, and they’ll reward you for it.
